Finance > Group Finance > Financial systems & Processes > Global Financial Reporting Solutions
You will in collaboration with Digital Solutions be part in building the roadmap for future Enterprise Performance Management in Vestas as well as supporting other strategic initiatives and CAPEX projects. You will be designing and developing reporting solutions that fulfil specific business goals in Vestas Performance areas. You will ensure our financial reporting solutions are well documented and support the way the finance organization operates, while balancing important concerns such as adherence to established practices and alignment with target BI architecture and general enterprise IT strategy.
You will be responsible for driving better utilization of systems and tools, hereunder increasing knowledge, competences and skills in the financial reporting landscape. The responsibility includes technical project management, ongoing project involvement and advisory and assistance to other team members as well as monitoring, reviewing and testing solutions developed by other team members if requested or needed. Also, to the extent possible, the BI Specialist should prequalify enhancements request and be contacted for 3rd level escalation of incidents.
The Reporting Solutions BI Specialist will be a trusted and proactive partner to our stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Take part in the continuous developing and implementing of a roadmap for future Enterprise Performance Management, Forecasting & Planning in collaboration with Digital Solutions
- Ensure we have a best-in-class Reporting Solutions platform to deliver exciting new and value-adding reporting solutions to the business + inspire the business w/new reporting solutions opportunities (tools & technologies)
- Introduce best practices and standards to ensure our Reporting solutions built on our Reporting platform can perform and scale, meet business needs for efficient analysis (reporting, mining, prediction, etc.) and are easy to maintain
- Close cooperation and dialogue with Vestas Finance community to identify, understand and document reporting solutions requirements as well as with Digital Solutions BI Architects and BI team members on solution designs and testing
- Requirements gathering, analysis, solution design, development and testing of Reporting Solutions hereunder Project Management of large Reporting Solutions developments and changes on ad hoc basis
- Provide coaching and sparring to developers and train business users in reporting tools to secure user adoption
- Handling 3rd level Incidents, Service requests and Change Requests for Reporting solutions related issues
Qualifications
- 3-5+ years of experience from a similar role in a larger company
- Proven experience with SAP Enterprise Performance Management solutions (EPM) and SAP BI solutions
- Proven track record in designing, developing, testing, training, deploying and servicing EPM solutions
- Excellent reporting skills in the SAP landscape - and high-quality analytical skills
- Desirable with experience with Business/Financial controlling in complex environments
